Action and Love began when God spoke to Simone’s heart in 2010 in the quiet town of Marlborough, Massachusettes. It was a Sunday morning when Marcos, Simone’s husband, had gone out with their eldest son Fabio.
While she stayed at home taking care of Matheus who needed to avoid contact with large grups of people. After his birth he needed to have a bone marrow transplant and needed more care due to low immunity.
It was a difficult time in her life with caring for Matheus, but on that specific day she felt the Lord bother her and speak to her heart. Not yet sure what God wanted, she asked God to show her.
After praying, sitting in front of the computer, she searched for the words “house of prayer”. The name of the church where she is a member. A request for help then appeared from a church in Paraíba, in the city of Duas Estradas, a request from brother Paulo Eduardo.
It then became clear to her that God wanted her to get involved in missionary work. God had presented the mission field to her. After a while she met Paulo Naene, who lived in Maputo, Mozambique. He served the Lord in a church in that city.
Still not knowing him personally and not sure if she should start a project to help that church. She wanted to know more about him so she asked him if he had ever been to Brazil, he said yes. To her surprise, he said that he had even stayed in the small town of Engenheiro Caldas, Minas Gerais, which coincidentally is Simones hometown.
Not only that, he even said that he had stayed at Carlos and Reni’s house, who are none other than Simones parents! From that moment on she felt calm to start helping with this work, as she understood that it was God’s direction.
Since then, other missionary projects in Brazil, Mozambique and the Middle East have been our focus. Action and Love was created to support and be completely involved with the missionary work of preaching the gospel under the direction of God.
Paulo Naene, his wife Julia, and two daughters Anaya and Lyana, were born and raised in Mozambique, Africa. Paulo is a missionary who has worked with Action and Love for the past 11 years. We have worked together to bring and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in the region of Matola Gale, Mozambique.
We do not belong to a single congregation. We are nondenominational non profit Christian organization.
The nonprofit current project and vision is to help Mozambique. However, the nonprofit has helped small projects in Brazil and other countries.
Mozambique is in the southern tip of Africa between South Africa and Tanzania. Action and Love is partnered with a local missionary family in the southern tip of the Mozambique capital of Maputo.
Portuguese is the official language, however, many other languages are spoken depending on the region.

Action and Love partners with a local church to have a kids event called “A Happy Christmas”. This event is typically held near Christmas holiday. It consists of breakfast, a bible study, lunch, and games with over 400 kids a day for 4 consecutive days.
There are approximately 80 kids in which are members of the church. The remaining children are drawn into our event from simply being in the neighborhood of where the event is being held. Or they are invited by other children?
The nonprofit assists local churches and missionaries in Mozambique, hosts the kids event Happy Christmas, helps on social projects for elderly, helps families with necessity baskets, medical assistance and plans on doing much more!
